Frequently Asked Questions


  • My practice is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have an office space to meet with clients in person one day per week, and my appointments are offered through an online platform during the rest of the week. My license allows me to work with you anywhere within the state of Michigan.

  • Online appointments are offered through a secure and easy-to-use platform. Prior to our appointments, you will receive an email link that will connect you to a virtual meeting room. In the event of technical difficulties, I will contact you via telephone call to discuss next steps.

  • My practice is currently able to offer a limited number of in-person slots (I have office space one day per week). During the rest of the week, I have online appointments available.

  • My fee is $120 per session, with some sliding scale appointment slots available. I do not accept insurance but I can provide a superbill that you may submit for out-of-network claims. Please contact me to discuss any questions or concerns about payment process.

  • I will send you necessary paperwork to complete before our first appointment, so that our first meeting can be focused on getting to know each other. When we meet, we will discuss your goals for therapy and any previous experiences trying to make changes in those areas. I will provide information about steps we can take in our work together and we’ll start to formulate a plan. It is normal for a first session to feel focused on information-gathering — continued sessions will flow differently as we dive into working together and get to know one another.

  • Some people find that they benefit from gaining new tools within the first several sessions, while others choose to remain in therapy for a number of months in order to dive deeper into their concerns. I always invite discussion of how you feel the therapy is going and will work to keep us focused on moving in a direction that feels meaningful to you.
